It turns out that Senator Joseph Biden agrees with me. Judge John Roberts is the best nominee that could sit on the Supreme Court. It has been reported that Senator Biden told John Roberts on the floor of the hearing room that he is the best nominee that has appeared before the committee. I wonder if that means Biden will vote to confirm him as the next Chief Justice of the United States of America. I will put money down that Biden votes no to confirm him. Mainly because Senator Biden is running for President and he must appeal to the likes of his liberal activists. It probably is a shame that this will happen because Roberts is the most qualified person to sit on the court and he is a legal genius. Ginsburg got 96 votes in the senate and she is the most extreme member on the court. And that is more extreme than some on the court.
I also heard Senator Lyndsey Graham say yesterday that he thinks no Democrat on the committee will vote in favor of Judge Roberts. That just tells you how much politics has made its way into the law. The rule of law is the most precious aspect that this country has and it is being destroyed by partisan babies on the democratic side of the Senate. I predict that Judge Roberts will get about 80 some odd votes from the whole Senate. The 20 no's will be coming from Democrats who either are flaming liberals or are running for President. It is a shame what our country's nomination process has come to. It is being destroyed by the Democrats and their liberal buddies in special interest. Only time will tell whether or not we can overcome this peril.

I always get a kick out of someone who implies that one side is totally wrong and the other side totally right. Your comment that Democrats are partisan is clearly defining your own partisan mindset. The fact is that both sides have folks that are high partisan and others who are willing to see the other point of view.
As far as Biden saying that Roberts is the best, you are clearly taking a comment of his out of context. He may well have said that Judge Roberts is the most well prepared or the most articulate judge who has appeared before the committee. Senator Biden generally tries to appreciate the value anyone brings to the table.
Biden also finds the judge to be a too far to the right on issues he cares about. And he is frustrated that Roberts won't own up to his strongly held political beliefs. So Biden doesn't think Roberts is the best person for the job by a long shot and that has nothing to do with Biden wanting to be president. The fact that you misread Biden so fundamentally says a lot about your own blind spots.

Here's some basic information--our "country" in the possessive form is spelled (watch carefully here): "our country's".....
If your spelling is a reflection of your ability to think then Biden is terrific and Roberts is a moron.
It's not just "been reported" that Biden said that. He actually did say it. It's in the transcript.
Tim - STRICTCONLAWMAN did not imply that Biden liked Roberts, so don't go taking things out of context. However, I do find it hilarious that even Biden himself realizes that he's been outwitted.
